Tata Nano Finally Getting Launched On 23, March 2009 In Mumbai

Finally after long press conference Tata Motors launched the Tata Nano today.
Ratan Tata has said" Nano will start to roll out to the Indian roads beginning by July 2009. & Tata Nano bookings will begin on April 09th & will be open till April 23rd. "
There will be no price revision for bookings happening between April 09th and April 23rd. & Tata Nano can be booked online and payment can be made through the net banking.

Nano will come in three variants :-
1) Nano Base :-Racing Red,Ivory White and Summer Blue
2) Nano CX :-Racing Red,Ivory White,Summer Blue,Champagne Gold & Lunar Silver
3) Nano LX :-Sunshine Yellow, Champagne Gold and Lunar Silver.

Tata Nano comes in Standard and CX variants which will complies BSII norms and BSIII norm and Nano LX version will comes with BSIII norms complaint.

Tata claims that Nano Petrol variant will give you a mileage of 23.6 KMPL as tested by ARAI.
& rolls out with an 18 months or 24000 Kms warranty whichever is earlier.
Moreover it can reach 60kmph in 8 seconds and the top speed electronically limited to 105 Kmph.

Tata Nano comes with a 15-Litre Fuel Tank.
Tata Nano comes with an impressive turning circle diameter of 8.0-metres and 180mm ground clearance.

For the first time a 2-cylinder petrol engine will be used in an Indian car and a single balancer shaft will be used in it.

Nano CX variant is priced 1,48,725
Nano LX variant is priced Rs1,70,335

Deluxe nano model (LX variant) is priced Rs1,72,360 (ex-showroom Delhi)
